So you have a clean looking nursery- but it smells dirty?! With these four odor-fighting products, your nursery will be looking and smelling as clean as the first day you used it!
4. Candles
Candles! It’s one of the easiest ways to keep those nasty smells out! Candles are my go-to when I will be at home for an extended period of time, and I’m able to keep an eye on the nursery. They work great when you’ll be able to check on it here and there just to make sure it isn’t burning the wrong way or something else caught on fire with it.
3. Open Windows
Opening windows- THIS is definitely the easiest way to beat odors when the weather is right! Getting some fresh air in your nursery is so helpful for you and your baby, but this isn’t very helpful when it’s below 60*F. If the weather permits, this is the way to go!
2. Essential Oils
Mmm, everybody loves essential oils! I love essential oils because unlike candles, you can let them do their job without checking on them every so often! They don’t burn, fall or do any harm to worry you while you’re out doing errands or simply relaxing in another room. The only downside- certain brands can be pricey, so make sure to do some good research before buying.
1. Packits
Packits? What are those? Well, this is easily #1 on this list because of how universal it is. Packits are small, disposable bags (200 to be exact) that are very easily accessible when throwing away diapers, wipes or anything smelly because the bags block out odors. They are held in a portable, travel sized container so it’s easy to use wherever you are! These are my personal favorites because I can easily throw a dirty diaper in one of these bags, and then throw the whole thing in my regular garbage without having to worry about it smelling!
